What should of course not be missing here is a fast and stable internet connection. Business Challenge
InterSys is increasingly being asked to provide a connectivity solution for mobile internet in a motorhome. This use case describes the alternative to a satellite dish on top of the motorhome. The main requirements from the end user for this solution were the affordability of the total solution, the use in Europe and that the solution would not take up too much space. As a an experienced Wireless WAN provider we recommend a 4 or 5G router in combination with an antenna for better reception. To guarantee user-friendliness, the solution is offered fully preconfigured. By placing two SIM cards in the router, 24/7 uptime is guaranteed. The router uses failover, which means that it automatically switches providers as soon as the connection from one provider is lost. This allows the router to maintain a connection even with an unstable mobile network.
Solution
Based on the user’s needs, InterSys have put together a suitable 4 and 5G camper bundle. The bundle consists of; the very compact Peplink Transit 5G router, or a Teltonika 4G Router. A Poynting 5-in-1 roof antenna and two SIM cards; 1 from EE (national) and a SIM card for either UK failover or a customer chosen international SIM). Together this solution is capable of unlimited internet access throughout Europe. In the unlikely event of a network failure, the router will switch to the other network. The router stacks the bandwidth of all WAN connections in a network with extra high speed, reliability and high security. The installation includes the compact 4 or 5G router being mounted in the motorhome and the Poynting antenna then being placed on the roof.

One-time setup
The one-time set-up is a major advantage of our mobile internet solution compared to a satellite dish solution. For example, with a satellite dish you have to place and adjust the dish again on the motorhome at every location. With the All-In One 4/5G solution, you set up the router, SIM card and antenna once, and then carry out the installation. Users of this total solution do not have to rely and be dependent on the WiFi at a campsite; meaning you can go where you want without having to worry about the internet connection.
